Hong Kong - Macau Day 4 & 5
Thursday, April 21, 2011 11:06 PMHello Hello.
I decided to finish posting my Hong Kong and Macau Trip before lesson officially starts for me. I believe that I'm going to be very busy.
Woke up super early to explore Hong Kong.
Do you know that Hong Kong is divided into 2 parts? It divided into Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. You have to take a ferry across.
Okay I'm noob.
So now we were at Star Ferry Terminal, gona crossed over to Avenue of Stars (星光大道)

I'm wearing shorts.
We decided to go to the longest outdoor escalator in the world.
"The escalators are 800 metres (2,600 ft) long with a vertical climb of 135 metres (443 ft). The total travel time is twenty minutes, but most people walk while the escalator moves to shorten their trip." quoted by wiki
It's a lie!! We took like an hour to reached the "summit" and there were nothing up there to see.

Photo taken at the "summit" of the longest escalator.
We slowly made our way down to explore. Had the famous Yi ding noodles from a stall where all the famous stars

While shopping and walking around the street. We realised that we were seperated from my sister and Zenn, So stanley had to find them while I waited at one corner.
Suddenly my stomach ached !!! and I'm not suppose to move just in case stanley couldn't find me cause I don't have a phone with me.
It's so painful that I have to sit down on the crowded street. I can feel thousand of eyes staring at me. I wanted to find a toliet and the locals couldn't understand my Chinese.
Gone!~~~
Luckily I managed to wait for Stanley to return & poor him had to run around helping me to find a toilet.

We took a bus controlled by cable to a dessert stall

We went to the victoria peak to view the magnificent view of Kowloon with Hong Kong Island buildings
We missed the laser show. I think it's at 8pm everyday.

Afterwhich we went to Ladies and Temple Street to get some gifts for our loved ones. I got a clock for (S)$5.00. Heh Heh cheap loot.
PLS DON'T BUY UMBRELLA !!!!!!! Hahaha I bought lots of umbrella so that I can give my friends but the umbrellas were certainly not worth the buy. Regreted it.

As for the last day, we went to eat dim sum again. YUM YUM YUM. It's cheap and tasty!

& we rushed off to do some last minute shopping. See so many packets of noodles. They were really delicious. You can choose the type of noodles and add in your choosen sauce.
It's something small for you to chew on. If you want a bigger portion, just order 2 packet of noodles instead.

Hahahaha! I saw this while chewing the noodles and he looks like Jonathan from Rovers. LOL!

Bye Bye Hong Kong!
Thanks Stanley for bringing us around although you always got the road mixed up which made us walk round and round. (Topography skill really need to buck up ;D) It's enjoyable being able to travel overseas with you. Hope to have more :D
