Ju Shin Jung - Korean BBQ Buffet
Sunday, November 06, 2011 11:58 PMCaught a movie 'In Time' with Stanley. It definitely worth the watch! :D

In short, "genetic alteration has allow individuals to stop aging at 25 years after birth. Time has replaced money as the standard currency. People must acquire more time through labor and commercial means after turning 25 years of age, or die within a year. Each social class lives in a different area called a 'Time Zone'. The poor live in the ghettos of Dayton and work each day to earn a few more hours of life, which they must also use to pay for everyday necessities. The rich live in the luxurious New Greenwich, and can live for centuries to millenia based on how much time they have accrued." Source from Wiki
After the movie, we decided to have Korean BBQ for dinner!
Felt so much in love after eating Korean BBQ in Australia.
Stanley drove to Tanjong Pagar Road- 2D1N Soju Bang. We didn't get to eat our dinner there because of the crowd. We are certainly going back because it only costs $22.00 ++ per pax for a Korean BBQ buffet. Their reviews from Hungrygowhere.com scored an average of >80% recommendation.
So we went to Ju Shin Jung (27 West Coast Highway #01-18/19, Yess Centre 1F, Singapore 117867, Singapore)
Something bad about that place was the parking lots. Valet parking is COMPULSORY! So in total you have to pay for the car park charges + Valet fee (any amount you want to give)
*** Ju Shin Jung DOES NOT SERVE KOREAN BBQ BUFFET on FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY DINNER.
We seemed to get scam! Haha but nevertheless, we just sat down because we were too hungry to change venue.
The food is quite pricey. $45.00 for a plate of beef, $22.00 for a plate of chicken or pork & $10.00 for assorted mushrooms.
They served A LOT OF SIDES!!!

Hahaha Stanley was thinking which to eat first!

GUESS WHAT IS THIS! I was quite amazed by what actually it is!

And do you know what is this?

Apparently Stanley and I have no idea what was this. It is written in Korean words and is yellow in colour.
so the first thing that came into my mind was OIL!!!
because you need oil to cook right? Hahahaha so I asked Stanley to pour it into the BBQ pot and we got a lot of stares from the people beside us.
We gave up in the end and turned to the waiter for help! He then told us that that was a beverage! Wah!!!!!!!!!!
Feel like digging a hole to hide my face! Hahahahaha

You no need oil to BBQ the meat!

Really sweet watermelon! In heart shape some more!
Overall the dinner wasn't a disppointment! It was nice but I felt that it was quite expensive. They served buffet from Monday to Thursday~ May be going back. We shall see!
We smelled like BBQ PORK after dinner!
Drink lots of water! Had a sore throat the next morning!
Ciaos! Happy Holiday!
